1WC partners with nonprofits Parkinson’s Resources of Oregon and Dance for PD® (D4P)–already serving over 400 communities in 28 countries–to bring our Remo HealthRHYTHMS program to individuals living with Parkinson’s. By integrating Remo drumming methodology with D4P’s internationally-acclaimed dance program, we create an inclusive experience for people of all abilities to express themselves and regain mobility through the arts.

YORK, THE EXPLORER, a new folk opera we are developing in partnership with Oregon Community Foundation and The Patricia Reser Center for the Arts, tells the story of the only Black man who participated in the Corps of Discovery Expedition with Lewis & Clark.
The Big Up Show is an in-school and after-school skills training program designed for middle and high school students interested in multimedia and music production. During Big Up Show residencies, youth collaborate to produce segments for a children’s show, building hands-on experience in audio, video, and content creation, with a strong emphasis on music, storytelling, and peacebuilding.
